As a Senior Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our products from conception to delivery. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand the product vision, define the roadmap, and execute strategies that deliver tangible value to our users and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a passion for innovation, strong communication skills, and a proven track record in digital product management.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Partner with stakeholders to understand product vision and strategy.
- Execute the product roadmap and drive technology solutions that deliver value.
- Define and refine success metrics in partnership with the business and continue to refine product metrics to align with measures of success.
- Refine the opportunity space through continuous discovery habits to uncover unmet user needs. Lead discovery, framing, and other exploratory activities in alignment with product strategy.
- Collaborate with design and development to explore multiple solution paths and evaluate pros and cons, across custom solutions and 3rd party partner solutions.
- Make informed decisions on product features based on qualitative and quantitative data.
- Write user stories and acceptance criteria to guide development efforts. Work with the team to size the effort, assess feasibility and risks, and prioritize stories in alignment with business priorities and manage dependencies.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage releases of custom software to ensure timely and quality delivery. This includes new feature development, bug fixes, performance improvements, user experience updates, and more. Ensure releases are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of features and identify areas for improvement based on data and feedback.
- Foster a culture of innovation and stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product development.
- Promote the adoption of user-centered design, agile methodologies, and continuous discovery habits throughout the organization.
- Encourage experimentation and collaboration to identify and implement innovative solutions that optimize our referring strategy and drive business value. This role will have the opportunity to innovate in the ever-changing medical device market.
Required qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years demonstrated experience in digital product management, product design, or product engineering with a focus on discovery, scoping, and delivery abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver major products that achieve expected outcomes, and able to coordinate product releases that are high quality.
- Practitioner of agile development methodologies, lean startup and design thinking methodologies.
Preferred qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, aligning and coaching non-digital stakeholders and build relationships.
- Demonstrated success leading in a team environment, ability to create an atmosphere of enthusiasm, commitment, and trust.
- Strong analytical mindset - understands key impact on customers and stakeholders. A natural curiosity and a tendency to seek understanding and surface insights. Ability to challenge the status quo, think differently, and good instincts to predict future customer needs.
- Experience in evaluating “build vs. buy” decisions and the ability to compare and recommend paths forward. This includes assessing the strategic fit, cost implications, and long-term sustainability of the options.
- Experience in marketing analytics, leveraging data to drive customer engagement and optimize product strategies.
- Proficiency in working with large healthcare data sets, such as those from Komodo Health and IQVIA, to generate insights and inform decision-making.
- Proficiency in working with Salesforce and Snowflake.
