This is an Onsite position in Phoenix, AZ
As an Advanced Software Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced software solutions to address complex challenges in the aerospace industry. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test software applications that meet customer requirements and industry standards. Your expertise in software engineering will contribute to the success of our cutting-edge projects and drive innovation in the field. You will report directly to our Software Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location.
In this role, you will impact the development of software solutions that enhance the safety, efficiency, and performance of aerospace systems. You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, design software architectures, and implement robust and scalable solutions. Your work will contribute to the success of our products and help shape the future of the aerospace industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Requirements analysis and decomposition
- Identify and address complex engineering challenges to provide solutions that meet technical standards.
- Test Systems & Test Software development, integration, validation & verification

YOU MUST HAVE - Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as computer science, software engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with expertise in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, Git, Bitbucket, JIRA
- Test software experiences with Test Stand, LabWindows/CVI
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices
- Experience with software development tools, version control systems, and continuous integration/deployment pipelines
- Comprehensive knowledge in systems integration, implementation, and troubleshooting.
