ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, implement, document, and validate test automation framework improvements, test scripts, and bug fixes (software)
• Configure and debug enterprise servers, including storage device installation, OS setup, and network configuration
• Engage with technical experts (hardware) and test engineers to understand requirements and restrictions
• Participate in feature demonstrations to internal users and management

This is a co-op position and will last up to 8 months (January-August) based on individual university calendars.

REQUIRED

• Students pursuing a Bachelor's degree majoring in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related major. The ideal candidate will graduate in 2027.
• Right to work in the US without requiring Western Digital to commence or sponsor an immigration case to employ you at any point in the future required (for example, H-1B or other employment-based immigration case)
• Experience utilizing object-oriented design concepts in projects

SKILLS

• Familiarity with Linux-based systems via command line
• Passion for problem-solving and learning new things
• Solid communication skills
