The position
Our direct procurement manager will be a global supply chain and logistics expert who will specialize in implementing cost-effective purchases of all goods and services, as required by the company. The continuously increasing business demands make this a challenge.
What will your job look like:
  • Sourcing, developing and engaging reliable suppliers /major subcontractors.
  • Negotiating with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.
  • Reviewing exiting and new contracts with suppliers to ensure on-going feasibility.
  • Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
  • Building and maintaining long term relationships with suppliers, and monitoring subcontractors/suppliers' performance
  • Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services.
  • Preparing procurement reports and working plans.
  • Collaborate with the Business Units Managers to clarify purchase requisitions, identify departmental needs, and refine specifications for future purchase orders.
  • Work tight with staffs at R&D and Production departments, building excellent relationships with engineering teams to forecast their needs and make purchase strategic and decisions based on demand.
All you need is:
  • At least 5 years of experience as a direct procurement manager -MUST
  • At least 5 years of managerial experience.
  • Experience in electronic and optic procurement and mechanical parts.
  • Experience in Silicon industry – an advantage
  • At least 5 years' experience at international companies
  • Proven experience managing supply chain /procurement operation– NPI and Production process.
  • Experience with ERP systems- mandatory, NetSuite- an advantage
  • Technical approaching, mechanical drawings understanding.
  • In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts and commercial terms.
  • Advanced negotiation skills.
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Highly organized and detailed-oriented.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, assertiveness, proactivity, and accuracy
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration or other relevant field.
  • Comprehensive skills in MS Excel, Word and Power Point
  • High level English skills
