Your role:

  • Work with existing Enterprise Informatics customers to build key relationships within the informatics, biomedical engineering, and imaging departments with the goal of consistent presence and prompt attention to any open items raised during regular reviews.
  • Establish regular business reviews that track KPIs, report out on special projects, ensure alignment on customer/Philips project roadmaps, and capture any potential commercial opportunities.
  • Create and foster business opportunities for the Philips informatics product line to show how each solution can add value and can be integrated within the healthcare provider’s current and future infrastructure.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the successful submission of RFP responses.
  • Understand customer needs and drive sales efforts for the product portfolio.
  • Develop a business plan that supports both the achievement of customer KPIs as well as order intake goals by focusing on balanced strategic selling and meeting financial goals.
  • Leverage Philips business tools to understand specific customer business needs and design solutions to meet them.
  • Collaborate with the Canadian and Global Enterprise Informatics team to coordinate demonstrations and site visits, clinical trials, and clinical venue activities nationally.
  • Lead and plan customer presentations including clinical, operational, and financial positioning and benefits. Attend customer presentations to rebut objections raised by customers or answer questions regarding the product and configuration.
  • Prioritize existing business opportunities for a given account.


You're the right fit if you:

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Have at least 5 years of support and sales experience in a hospital and clinic setting.
  • Have excellent customer relationship management and presentation skills.
  • Have a customer-focused, results-oriented approach and an entrepreneurial mindset compatible with a matrix organization.
  • Understand DICOM and HL7 connectivity as it relates to assigned healthcare informatics products and how they fit into a hospital environment.
  • Understand radiology, cardiology and patient monitoring clinical workflows
  • Can look for and recognize opportunities where Philips may be able to provide a relevant solution.
  • Have an excellent knowledge of healthcare informatics in a specific hospital environment.
  • Have experience in understanding protocols and influencing decision makers.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of the hospital environment and hospital stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to achieve territorial and organizational goals.
  • Able to travel as required across Canada.
