Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years of technical experience
    • OR formal training in a technical trade (e.g., machinist, electrician) AND 1+ year(s) of experience as anElectronic Technician, preferable in an electronic product development lab environment
    • OR Associate's degree in Engineering or a related field.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of technical experience
    • OR formal training in a technical trade (e.g., machinist, electrician) AND 2+ years of experience of expert-level rework skills, including the ability to rework SMT 0201 packages, being able to read electronic schematics
    • OR Associate's degree in Engineering or a related field AND +1 year(s) of technical experience.

Lab Technician ATR-B - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $31.35 - $57.60 per hour. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $45.14 - $64.13 per hour.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation. Responsibilities
  • Functional board bring up, execute lab bring up tasks and electrical checks such as testing and characterizing a high-speed bus; and generate a written report to record work.
  • Debug structural and basic electrical failures to thecomponentlevel. Use electronic instruments such as an oscilloscope to isolate a failedcomponent
  • Test components manually, by followinga provided
  • Manage state of system-level units-under-test in the development lab: report status of tests,identifyfailed units, flashing ROMs, etc.
  • Good analytical and technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of electrical, digital, and analog fundamentals.
  • Ability to use a PC to generate MS Office documents
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software problems asrequired
  • Moving and lifting of hardwaremaybe
