Responsibilities:

• Lead integration of functions to meet goals, deploy new products, and enhance processes
• Analyze complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards to define and develop solutions to high level problems
• Provide expertise in area of advanced knowledge of applications programming and plan assignments involving large budgets, cross functional project, or multiple projects
• Develop application methodologies and standards for program analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
• Utilize advanced knowledge of supported main system flows and comprehensive knowledge of multiple areas to achieve technology goals
• Consult with end users to identify system function specifications and incorporate into overall system design
• Allocate work, and act as an advisor/coach developers, analysts, and new team members
• Influence and negotiate with senior leaders and communicate with external parties
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of relevant experience
• Experience in implementing projects
• Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications
• Demonstrated Subject Matter Expert (SME) in area(s) of Applications Development
• Demonstrated knowledge of client core business functions
• Demonstrated leadership, project management, and development skills
• Relationship and consensus building skills
• Handle mission-critical applications 24X7 with stringent SLA platform across the LATAM regions (Finance, O&T and AML regulatory report).
• Develops architecture, strategy, planning, and problem-solving solutions on a complete platform/group level. Interfaces across several channels, acting as a visionary to proactively assist in defining direction for future projects
• Manage/develop multiple teams of professionals across different location to accomplish established goals and conduct personnel duties for team (e.g. performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions) as well as ensure team adheres to best practices and process Develop vision for team around roles and responsibilities, and structure team to ensure greatest impact, efficient use of resource, and alignment to business structures
• Prepare and present regular team/project reviews to senior management and business leaders
• Drive the design and development of system architecture, work with end-users of the systems, and enhance the quality of deliverables Ensure staff follows Citi documented policy and procedures as well as maintain desktop procedures and supporting documentation for filings on a current basis and in comprehensive manner
• Monitor and manage approach/end results, budgeting, planning, policy formation, and contribute to future strategy of the area(s)
• Ensure change is managed with appropriate controls, documentation, and approvals including implementation of new and revised regulatory reporting requirements
• Research and resolve issues, provide recommendations, and escalate to senior management as needed
• Manage and maintain all disaster recovery plans, oversee appropriate testing, and provide permit-to-operate for new applications
• Contribute to defining and implementing best practices and processes for the department and ensure transparency and consistency across teams

• Should have a strong working knowledge of Regulatory reporting functions and should have strong skill in evaluating vendor products as required by country.
• Manage the entire implementation for Reg reporting transformation program in LATAM and Canada region . This includes handling the complete design, development and implementation with team in multiple location like US, Perú, Costa Rica & Mexico location.
• Should have good exposure in implementing tools using Ab Initio, Oracle and Bigdata platform.
• End to end delivery of MX Divestiture program, this include providing support to the buyer bank and also implement new ICG reports for the new banking license.
• Manage and deliver all the O&T Regulatory transformation program. This includes onboarding 2 new country in the strategic platform
• Leading the AML Regulatory reporting transformation program. 3 new countries to be onboarded in 2023.
• Should have a strong exposure in creating data warehouse for regional regulatory requirement, this program includes sourcing data from multiple Product processor and standardizing in common data layer.

• Work closely with the Global regulatory reporting lead and ensure there is a synergy between global and local team and components are reused

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Master’s degree preferred
