Job Description:

  • Plan and lead the execution of global pricing initiatives across PayPal. Establish clear roles and responsibilities across Legal, Product, Analytics, Finance, Strategy, Compliance, Customer Service, Go To Market, and other respective stakeholder teams. Translate requirements into clear project plans and take pro-active measures to ensure projects are on-track and deliver successfully.
  • Be key thought partner in the implementation of pricing across PayPal products and pricing related promotions. Provide consultative guidance on best practices while coordinating overall workflow with larger resource pool as necessary.
  • Own fee page update process– manage and enforce complex timelines on the consolidation, development, QA and launch of PayPal pricing pages. Lead planning and prioritization meetings, identify cross-functional dependencies, anticipate, minimize risks, provide organization and ensure respective teams meet business timelines.
  • Maintain documentation on list of pricing related issues and support in the remediation efforts via coordination across subject matter experts. Establish project health reporting metrics and templates to document and track progress. Lead communication of project status at established cadences.
  • Be the Pricing SME in cross functional projects
  • Support the vision and values of the broader Pricing Enablement and Transformation team a willingness to “wear many hats” and support where help is needed.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 6+ years
  • Ability to simplify and streamline complex pricing projects into easy-to-understand steps and summarize updates into executive friendly views for diverse audiences. High attention to detail with ability to synthesize information from multiple sources.
  • Excellent verbal communication and coordination skills with ability to rally across multiple global stakeholders.
  • Number savvy with fundamental understanding of business KPIs, analytics, metrics, data flows, and product flows to assist in technical discussions, team with planning and documentation.
  • Highly skilled in project management tracking with ability to scope work effectively to keep projects organized and on-track.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a team-based environment that is fast-paced, rapidly changing, and customer-oriented.
