A day in the life
As a Solutions Architect, you will provide architectural and technical leadership to a portfolio of customers who are looking to leverage AWS services at scale. You will be the domain expert guiding architectural design decisions, while demonstrating customer obsession to ensure high availability and performance of the customers applications. You’ll have the opportunity to learn and be curious while evangelizing the latest innovations and best practices in infrastructure and application design. - 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare and life sciences, encompassing one or more of the following areas: clinical research, biomedical research, genomics, bioinformatics, and computational biology.
- 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
- Experience working with end user or developer communities
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
- Knowledge of AWS services, market segments, customer base and industry verticals
- A degree in genomics, bioinformatics, computational biology or similar degree field is required.
