Design and develop advanced automation testing software to be integrated into new hardware designs. Serve as technical lead to develop advanced electrical and software testing processes. Review existing testing solutions and redesign for better precision, faster test times, and reduced cost. Coordinate with senior developers, designers, product managers to understand complex hardware systems. Analyze the advanced software requirements and define test criteria for hardware design to define and create test solutions. Develop the automated functional and regression tests using existing testing frameworks to evaluate the performance of device/product against its specifications. Participate in code reviews conducted by the developers and offering guidance to less senior engineers. Evaluate existing hardware/software test methodologies and provide new techniques that will help deliver high-quality features. The base pay range for this role is between $186,254 - $210,100/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
