We're looking for a Content Curator to manage and execute content strategies across various digital platforms, supporting key business priorities. As a crucial part of the global content team, you'll create and curate content across multiple channels, supporting business lines in strategic narrative and shaping our story. This role is ideal for someone who can balance creativity with strategy, producing engaging stories and delivering them to target audiences. You'll collaborate with global marketing, product & solutions, performance marketing, and channels to build top-tier content programs that foster meaningful connections with our clients.

Job Summary

As a GCFO Content Curator - Associate within our global content team, you will be responsible for creating and curating engaging content across various digital platforms. You will work closely with colleagues across different departments to build best-in-class content programs that allow our brand to make meaningful connections with our clients. This role offers the opportunity to shape our brand's narrative and make a significant impact on our business priorities.

Job responsibilities

  • Take ownership for the creation and delivery of design work from conception through to production, adhering to brand guidelines. This will involve designing and developing concepts in collaboration with the marketing team and relevant stakeholders, from an initial brief to final sign off
  • Manage projects to create engaging designs for use across our media including PitchBooks, Videos, website, displays, marketing, print collateral, event branding and promotional material
  • Cover several lines of business within the Investment Bank and build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders (Group Head, Business Managers, Resource Managers) and junior resources (Analysts/Associates), to understand business requirements and implement strategies which support the Bank’s ability to win deals
  • Maintain strong working relationships with team members and internal stakeholders to establish effective communication levels required to provide effective design reasoning and rationale.
  • Effectively communicate conceptual ideas and design approaches with convincing and engaging design rationale.
  • Working in cross-functional teams, interacting with designers, researchers, usability specialists, product managers, legal and compliance experts and line-of-business owners
  • Ensure quality check and proof all design and production output to ensure completed work is error-free, meets the brief and achieves the desired design standards and brand guidelines
  • Working with GCFO Strategy continuously deepens understanding of individual client needs and the needs of IB. Identify opportunities to improve GCFO’s ability to meet them, recommending required changes in services/processes
  • Be able to confidently challenge existing ways of working, both on the GCFO and Client side, to recognize opportunities and identify innovative solutions that add real value to clients.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience working in an in-house design studio or creative agency at senior-weight level for around 7+ years, delivering comprehensive large scale multi-channel projects with a strong consumer focus
  • While a strong grasp of the detail and a ‘hands-on’ approach are essential, excellent interpersonal and leadership skills are key to success in this role
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills as well as ability to build collaborative relationships and effectively partner across teams, functions and levels
  • Excellent oral and written English skills at a level that allows effective communication and collaboration in a fast-paced environment, conveying intended experiences and solutions to stakeholders of different seniority across the company
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Premiere Pro).
  • Able to work flexibly and in an agile way to respond to urgent and last minute requests. Effective time management is a must
  • A strong portfolio featuring assets across all digital touchpoints and marketing campaign projects which demonstrate good project management, design processes and a passion for maintaining brand consistency
  • Mentor and support other designers within the team

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Animation skills (After Effects) is a nice to have
  • Relevant experience in a banking or financial industry is a plus.
  • Experience leading teams and mentoring team members
  • Experience defining design best practices, guidelines and processes.
