• Testing all aspects of the product/system including function/component, system, performance, regression and service
• Work with development team to identify and capture test cases, and ensure version management
• Setting up of test environments, designing test plans, developing test cases/scenarios/usage cases, and executing these cases
• Providing feedback on usability and serviceability, trace the result to quality risk and report it to concerned people in development
• Build the Test Automation suite for product using industry standard Automation tools/technologies

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Software Testing
• Ability to use a wide variety of open-source automation technologies and tools
• Experienced in Install, deploy and associated automation with middleware- Appservers and databases
• Strong at system administration – Linux, Windows with passion for scripting, coding and automation.
• Working Knowledge of Automation tools and frameworks including JMeter, QTPro, Selenium and Cypress
• Working knowledge of using virtual machine environments and containers
• An understanding of the software development life cycle as well as the business approach for the product
• Demonstrated Analytical skills and decision-making ability, attention to details and a strong test aptitude
• Ability to work in a team as well as an individual contributor
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain deadlines

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience using Atlassian JIRA
• Experience with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins
