Your role and responsibilities

Application Database Administrator, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US (Up to 60% telecommuting permitted):

  • Create an adoption roadmap for DevOps practices.
  • Define business drivers for DevOps.
  • Participate in design reviews to provide input for the design recommendations as well as input for information/data flow.
  • Analyze business requirement, define development scope and develop technical specification documents.
  • Code, test, modify, debug, document, and implement ETL and SQL.
  • Incorporate IT control policies throughout design, development and testing for application design specifications.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications.
  • Manage projects, identify/troubleshoot issues and review and provide feedback to the final user documentation.
  • Work in SIT/UAT and production sessions to identify issues at integration testing and prepare problem statements.
  • Utilize: Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Tools for Oracle Application Development (TOAD), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Profiler.

Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (employer will accept an Associate’s degree plus two (2) years of IT experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree) and two (2) years of experience as a Database Administrator or related. Two (2) years of experience must include utilizing Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Tools for Oracle Application Development (TOAD), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Profiler. $121200 to $155000 per year. Full time. AV173.
