Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA).
7 years of experience in accounting or a related function, or 5 years with an advanced degree in accounting, business, or finance.
Experience in technical accounting research and the preparation of accounting policies and accounting position papers.
Experience with United States GAAP accounting principles ASC 842 (Lease Accounting) or ASC 606 (Business Accounting) in a public accounting or multi-national company setting.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in project management, in navigating ambiguous and complex projects with competing priorities.
Experience in managing technical accounting for a public company in the tech industry.
Ability to independently conduct technical accounting research and document findings.
Ability to work with management and influence decision making.
Ability to have a firm work ethic, grow in a fluid environment, and be adaptable to changing responsibilities and priorities.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
