Key Qualifications
- 5+ years experience with large scale distributed systems, especially ML infrastructure and services including LLMs, Generative AI, and transformers
- Demonstrable success leading engineering teams - ideally SRE or Production Engineering
- Knowledge of core operating system principles, networking fundamentals, and systems management
- Understanding of SRE principals, including monitoring, alerting, error budgets, fault analysis, and other common reliability engineering concepts
- Experience with hiring and leading engineers
- 5+ years professional experience in an engineering leadership position
Description
As a Site Reliability Engineering Manager, responsibilities include:- Manage staging and production environments with goal of maximizing availability- Promote observability of systems for monitoring, alerting, and metrics reporting- Advocate best practices of reliability engineering
Education & Experience
Bachelors or Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent field with 5+ years of experience

- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $183,400.00 and $316,900.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
