WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Create or adapt messaging, content assets, and sales enablement assets to be used by Snowflake EMEA marketing, sales, and partner teams.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with EMEA industry go-to-market, demand generation, content marketing, sales, product management, and other teams to build alignment around go-to-market objectives and plans for our DE/DL workloads

  • Drive and be accountable for the success of our go-to-market messaging and programmes  for DE/DL in EMEA

  • Communicate regional customer requirements and provide input to product management, global PMM, and industry principals on product enhancements and future product direction

  • Assist with the development of regional market/competitive intelligence, acting as marketing’s thought leader and expert in the DE/DL space

  • Evangelise Snowflake’s message and core differentiation at conferences, analyst briefings, and customer events

  • Understand the core personas of CDO, CTO, VP of Analytics/Data/Data Engineering, Data Engineers, ETL Developers, and Solutions Architects as it pertains to their needs for Data Engineering and Data Lakes in EMEA, and use these insights to inform Go-to-Market strategy and campaigns.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
  • 7+ years of proven product marketing experience (or equivalent) in the data analytics sector, ideally related to Data Engineering, ETL tooling, and/or modern data analytics architectures

  • Subject matter expertise and strong interest in Data Engineering and Data Lake technologies

  • Cross-functional team management and organizational skills; ability to influence without authority

  • Excellent communication skills, and can engage internal leaders/teams across functions and external stakeholders

  • Strong written communication skills and ability to synthesize complex information into clear and concise presentations and plans

  • Demonstrated track record of building and executing successful go-to-market messaging platforms and enablement across disparate internal teams

  • Analytical mindset, interpreting and summarizing data with actionable insights

  • Technical and business-benefit understanding of prevailing and emerging data technologies, on-premises and in the cloud. Experience with database products preferred

  • BS/BA preferred

  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
