Job Description

What you will do:

Bring energy, knowledge, innovation and leadership to carry out the following:

• Support Automation & OSI PI historian /MES PAS-X team specifically responsible for project support, day to day operational support and fault-finding support of production upsets in shop floor systems
• Management of configuration changes and introduction of new components on the MES shop floor system
• Provide day to day support to Operating Areas for PI, MES shop floor systems, including any relevant shop floor hardware
• Resolve technical issues on PI, MES and relevant application-related shop floor hardware to avoid / minimise impact on business priorities
• Ensure adherence with standards, following business processes in the execution and support of PI and MES
• Liaise with above-site PI, MES support teams for key shop floor applications
• Work collaboratively to drive a safe and compliant culture
• Comply with Global Policies, Procedures and Guidelines, regulatory requirements and execute current Good manufacturing Practices (cGMP) in the performance of day to day activities and all applicable job functions

What skills you will need:

In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have:

• Degree Qualification ideally in a related IT, Automation, Computer or other Technical Discipline
• PAS-X MES or other MES system
• Data historian and reporting systems such as OSI PI & RtReports
• Shop Floor hardware configuration – Label Printers, Scanners, Tablets, HMIs etc.
• Knowledge or previous exposure to automation systems (e.g. PLCs, DeltaV DCS)
• 2+ years GxP (life science, pharma, med device) experience
