You will have network with leading class sourcing professionals to support your role and career path
You will own primary responsibility to achieve client success against all contractual commitments at a category level
You will assist our clients with strategic sourcing and engage budget holders in strategic procurement strategies to maximize ROI from the investment, appropriate levels of service and compliance with procedures and ensure that professional best practice is achieved
You will be responsible for on-going category management activities including driving supplier performance, demand management savings, and increasing category compliance
You will communicate and negotiate with clients and suppliers through all levels of organization, primary interface to key category client stakeholders
You will build and maintain open and transparent relationships with business colleagues that contribute to mitigating change resistance
You will gather and analyze data to provide insights that support decision(s)
Strong decision-making skills and demonstrated negotiation expertise
Supplier relationship management expertise and client facing skills
Proactive character and team player attitude
High levels of personal drive, initiative, and commitment to business goals
Fluent German (and English) and strong communication skills
Minimum 5 years of Category Management experience (or 7 years of Strategic Sourcing experience) in IT Category
Experience with dashboards and reporting tools in general
