What you'll be doing:

  • Supply Planning for "state of the art" automotive and professional visualization products.

  • Reviewweekly/monthly/quarterlydemand signal changes to develop an optimal supply/build plan working closely with Demand Planning and Business Unit teams while keeping excess and our liability at a minimum.

  • Analyze planning strategies and priority tradeoffs with business units to optimize supply to meet end customer demand cognizant of our quarterly/annual revenue targets

  • Ability to comprehend factory capacity needs to meet the demand and influence downstream capacity investment by collaborating with capacity planning.

  • Evaluate weekly demand supply changes, create what if scenarios to understand impact of different supply strategies and present to executive level staff to obtain buy in and or guidance where needed.

  • Collaborate with factory and production planning teams to communicate priorities and ensure build plans are met by local and overseas contract manufacturers /partners.

  • Define and monitor key planning metrics and apply analytics to root cause process failures.

  • Identify and define process improvement requirements and partner with key business /IT stakeholders to implement solutions.

  • Team up with Engineers and program managers to develop ramp plans for new products from early-stage sampling to high-volume production, overseeing product transitions, based on customer qualification schedules and supply availability.

What we need to see:

  • Progressive experience with supply/demand planning working with ERP systems and APS solutions such as Kinaxis Rapid Response, SAP IBP, or Blue Yonder, etc.

  • Proficiency in business software applications such as Microsoft Office, Excel VBA, etc. software.

  • MBA with 3+ years or Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in industrial engineering, Business, Science or equivalent with 5+ years of experience focused on semiconductor, automotive, or graphics board planning.

  • Experience in a fast-paced production environment with various constraints

  • Good verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving and analytical skills, strong collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

  • Personality: highly organized, detailed orientated, a self-starter with a strong sense of ownership.
