About the role:
Develop, plan, launch, and measure inclusion and diversity, culture, and employee engagement programs in the US and globally (for both remote and onsite employees)
Be an advocate for our employees to ensure the very best experience for diversity and culture events and programs
Provide subject matter expertise to solve, design, and deliver programs and strategies that drive diversity, inclusion, and engagement throughout the business
Support overarching strategy and events for employee resource groups. Oversee the planning, management, and successful execution of relevant on-site and online events and activities
Promote employer brand by partnering with social media, communications, and recruitment teams on joint activities that align to recruitment goals
Demonstrate your awareness of social causes and global events and provide counsel and recommendations to corporate communications and leadership as needed
Help build an award-winning culture and gain recognition of such through great place to work awards
Host or co-host community, engagement, or culture events as needed
Track progress, measure success, report on learnings and results as part of regular reporting employee engagement program and progress reviews
Take complex projects and simplify the process for successful execution - from ideation to launch and reporting
About you:
6+ years (we’d love more!) experience in roles such as generalist, project manager, diversity & inclusion, engagement, events, or corporate social responsibility
Empathetic and passionate culture and inclusion Program Manager who puts the employee experience front and center
Someone who pays attention to the details, is highly organized, and holds strong project management skills
Innate understanding of what motivates and inspires employee participation and engagement
Ability to demonstrate awareness and understanding of multiple dimensions of diversity: race, ethnicity, gender, generation, sexual orientation, disability, linguistic, professional, and other differences that make us unique
Strong grasp on inclusion and diversity practices and serve as a DE&I subject matter expert providing consultancy and guidance as needed on sensitive diversity topics
Working ability to positively model the organization's commitment to integrity, principles, diversity, inclusion, and maintaining a respectful workplace
Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of DE&I principles
Demonstrable experience in managing high-volume workload and priorities
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to make informed judgments leading to effective partnerships and sustained relationships with a wide range of individuals and organizations with internal and external stakeholders
Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with a focus on PowerPoint for executive-ready presentations and advanced Excel for reporting purposes
Working knowledge of Office 365 apps, including SharePoint, Yammer and Teams, is highly advantageous
Strong operations and project management skills
Excellent communication (verbal and written), analytical, customer service, problem-solving and presentation skills
Highly collaborative mindset and excellent relationship-building skills, including the ability to engage many diverse stakeholders and SMEs and win their co-ownership in the outcome
Ability to think innovatively and act independently using sound judgment in an ever-evolving environment; the ability to pivot quickly is critical for this role
