Job responsibilities

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems.
• Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems with limited guidance.
• Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and derive conclusions from large, diverse data sets and contribute to decision-making in service of secure, stable application development.
• Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture.
• Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain to improve the value realized by automation.
• Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.
• Work in an Agile environment, always looking to improve.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 2 + years development experience in Java frameworks like Spring, Sprint boot, Micro services along with React Js.
• Proficiency in UI development with experience in React, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, Micro Frontend Development, optimization techniques and design patterns.
• Experience with advanced Java frameworks like Spring, Sprint boot.
• Experience with Database design, modelling, and SQL querying.
• Familiarity with API and Micro services frameworks & Container Technologies.
• Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, problem solving and organizational skills.
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies, all phases of SDLC & risk controls tools, such as CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security.
• Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Familiarity with Alteryx / Tableau is a plus
• Experience with Automated Functional Testing preferred.
• Familiarity with Cloud technologies (AWS).
