Senior Software Engineer, HR Systems
Leads and participates in medium to large-scale projects by reviewing project requirements; translating requirements into technical solutions; gathering requested information (for example, design documents, product requirements, wire frames); writing and developing code; conducting unit testing; communicating status and issues to team members and stakeholders; collaborating with project team and cross functional teams; troubleshooting open issues and bug-fixes; ensuring on-time delivery and hand-offs; interacting with project manager to provide input on project plan; and providing leadership to the project team. Coordinates, completes, and oversees DCR- Design Change Request related activities and assignments by developing and and communicating goals and . Leads everyday scrum meetings, Sprint planning and project discussions to meet by weekly and monthly releases. Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CICD) to ensure adherence to the project against approved milestones and timelines. Minimum education and experience 4 years of experience in software engineering or related experience; OR Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field plus 2 years of experience in software engineering or a related field.
Must have experience with: implementing and designing of SAP Human Capital Management (PA, OM and US Payroll); implementing and designing of SAP (Employee Central and Employee Central Payroll); configuring personnel calculation rules in SAP HCM, creating custom function, and writing functional specs; data migration in SAP applications; Advance Reporting tools and SFTP; Service Now and JIRA tools; code changes in XML (Extensible Markup Language); LSMW, BDC and G2SSL, and User Acceptance testing post product release; project conceptualization, detailed project documents, and defining project management concept in an Agile way; point-to-point integration, developing screens based on Fiori launchpad and payroll control center implementation; prioritizing product backlog and managing roll out of product; designing and configuring authorizations, roles and profiles for payroll managers and administrators; and scheduling batch jobs to run PCC daemon jobs.
