Your key responsibilities
- Be a senior contributor on an Alliances Procurement team, aligned to one or more strategic Alliances.
- Develop Alliance strategies for assigned suppliers in partnership with Alliance teams.
- Stakeholder and supplier relationship management
- Act as a senior strategic leader/contributor and trusted business advisor – manage complex transactions directly or indirectly, working closely with senior stakeholders to deliver successful results.
- Manage full lifecycle of contracts for assigned programs of work and key suppliers.
- Pro-actively manage contract negotiations for assigned projects
- Build and foster collaborative working relationships with internal business partners.
- Supporting and leading stakeholders through the Onboarding of Alliances Goods and Services end-to-end process.
- Socialization and facilitation of the Procurement policy and processes, ensuring that the project teams and stakeholders understand the value of the policy and adhere to it accordingly.
- Timely and frequent submission of management information, including project status and savings reporting.
- Supporting Supply Chain Services’ overall global strategies
- Facilitation of any needed market research to identify potential and develop existing Alliances, ensure competitive pricing and terms, etc.
Skills and attributes for success
- Experience with senior stakeholder engagement with the ability to collaboratively co-develop strategies and set and manage expectations.
- Comprehensive experience with negotiating contracts related to cloud-based solutions, software licensing & rationalization, and professional services
- Comprehensive experience with negotiating contracts globally and regionally.
- Experience of working in a Sourcing/Procurement/Supplier Management team in a complex and global environment.
- Strong influencing and networking skills as the organization relies on working in cross-functional teams across borders.
- Fluent, effective, transparent, and timely English communication skills required across multiple mediums (email, voice, IM, etc) in a global environment.
- The ability to independently manage and prioritize workload.
- Proficient organizational skills.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and have an appetite for change.
- Provide exceptional Client Service.
- May assume counsellor responsibilities as part of the role at a future date.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- 7 - 10 years’ experience of Alliance procurement or equivalent multi-pillar relationship management, with an emphasis on technology sourcing.
- Experience in a leadership position a plus.
- Business degree or equivalent a plus.
- Combination of work and experience may be considered.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- CPM (US), CIPS (UK) or similar Procurement certification is welcomed but not essential.
- Good knowledge of IT suppliers and emerging technologies.
- Experience working in an IT role as part of delivering technology solutions is a plus.

The compensation ranges below are provided in order to comply with United States pay transparency laws. Other geographies will follow their local salary guidelines, which may not be a direct conversion of published US salary range/s. We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $96,300 to $180,100. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $115,600 to $ 204,600. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
