We work on novel technologies including analytics on GPUs, container technologies, graph databases,and models for LLMs and data-science, machine learning for systems, and many other areas. Data Scientiston LLM based research as well as ML-for-Systems work, designed to create innovative experiences in the context of all products, as well asand improve the efficiency of how weour systems. Managers inguides designing a broad research agenda and working with individual researchers in pursuing world-class novel research and successfullytech transferit to product.

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Doctorate in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field AND 8+ year(s) data-science experience (e.g., managing structured and unstructured data, applying statistical techniques and reporting results)
    • ORMaster's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field AND 10+ years data-science experience (e.g., managing structured and unstructured data, applying statistical techniques and reporting results)
    • ORBachelor's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field AND 12+ years data-science experience (e.g., managing structured and unstructured data, applying statistical techniques and reporting results)
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years people-management experience.

  • This position will berequiredto pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
