Understanding the needs of potential customers from a technological standpoint.
Analyzing the ability to meet the needs of potential customers based on products produced by the company and its business partners and putting together price quotes and solution descriptions.
Presenting and selling the proposed technological solutions to the customer as part of the sales process with the assistance of the sales manager handling the deal.
Attain quarterly and annual objectives assigned by management, respond effectively to RFPs, and travel to customers.
Creating and retaining positive ongoing relationships with customers/partners.
Required Qualifications:
At least 4 years of experience in the telecommunications industry.
Good understanding of the telecommunications industry, market, and product.
Experience in designing carrier-grade communication networks from high-level network architecture.
Design experience of IP/MPLS Packet Networks (Layer 3) – Advantage.
CCDP / CCNP / CCIE Certifications or equivalents- Advantage.
Knowledge of DWDM and ROADM networks – Advantage.
Work experience with one of the following vendors: Cisco, Nokia, Infinera, Ciena, ZTE, Huawei or system Integrator – Advantage
Good verbal and written English proficiency
Customer-facing experience
Excellent presentation skills, presenting to all levels, including executives (CXO).
