Your key responsibilities
The role will identify, pursue and implement strategies to generate incremental Online commercial performance through new product launches, as well as proposition, marketing, engagement and commercial initiatives. They will also own and support the creation of quarterly commercial guidance, including building key reference cases etc. They will also be responsible for collaborating closely with EO and translating the MX D2C quarterly guidance into specific promotional guidance for promo events, e.g. Samsung Festival. Key deliverables include:
Lead the GTM planning and coordinate the execution of launches (e.g., NPC and Wearables) for D2C online channels, including:
Develop GTM guidance with appropriate proposition for D2C online channel
Engage with subsidiaries to adopt the guidance. Review their GTM plan, facilitate pre-GTM sharing and share feedback to ensure successful and sustainable new product launches.
Monitor performances against target with timely feedback
Develop deep dive post-mortem analysis with actionable insights
Support the promotional campaigns in European subsidiaries including:
Support quarterly MX commercial briefing and summary sessions across Europe D2C teams
Represent MX division and share feedback to the strategic direction and creative assets of promotional campaigns e.g. #YouMake and Samsung Festival
Support Flagship GTM including:
Own weekly DP review
Create templates and managing overall audits or Flagship Pre Order and Launch
Support with subsidiary workshop planning and organisation
What we need for this role
To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:
Experience working in eCommerce or a digital team, ideally in consumer products industry, especially mobile experience products or consumer electronics
Commercial competence with an understanding of P&L
Analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data
Problem-solving skills with the ability to manage a wide array of data sources, to inform financial/business decisions
A self-starter, this role is in a part of the business that is acting like a start-up within a well-established organisation, so you are able to self-prioritise work, navigate ambiguity and speak to a wide range of collaborators
Strong influencing and communications skills which will enable:
Relationship building with subsidiary and partners at all levels
Engagement with subsidiaries to trial new initiatives
Very strong resilience efficient time management skills
Strong IT skills in particular in Excel, PowerPoint and MS Teams
It helps if you have:
An understanding of and passion for the mobile product portfolio (incl. Smartphone, Tablets, Wearables, PC and accessories)
Previous experience working in global/regional roles or within complex subsidiary set-up
Previous experience working within telecoms, or directly with Samsung in any capacity
Be proactive with identifying insights and opportunities to drive strategic and sustainable D2C online business growth.
Degree or equivalent experience in business

Two stages of interviews are required.
