Job Responsibilities
- Research and analyze industry landscapes to evaluate new opportunities, identify emerging trends and refine investment theses.
- Source potential investment opportunities in ClimateTech.
- Conduct thorough due diligence on investment prospects.
- Assist in negotiating strategic partnerships and investments with ClimateTech companies.
- Create presentation materials for senior stakeholders.
- Develop relationships with internal functional partners and CIB business partners.
- Engage with ClimateTech companies, VC investors, and the broader climate community.
- Participate in industry events to network with the broader ecosystem and identify emerging trends.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- 3-5 years of experience in investment banking, markets, PE/VC, startups, management consulting, or strategy in the public sector.
- Strong interest in climate and climate innovation.
- Proficiency in quantitative storytelling, financial modeling, and data analysis.
- Ability to develop and convey compelling value propositions.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness and ability to learn quickly.
- Collaborative, creative, and execution-oriented personal operating style.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Experience in ClimateTech investing and/or product development.
- Deep knowledge of climate innovation.
