Job Responsibilities

• Research and analyze industry landscapes to evaluate new opportunities, identify emerging trends and refine investment theses.
• Source potential investment opportunities in ClimateTech.
• Conduct thorough due diligence on investment prospects.
• Assist in negotiating strategic partnerships and investments with ClimateTech companies.
• Create presentation materials for senior stakeholders.
• Develop relationships with internal functional partners and CIB business partners.
• Engage with ClimateTech companies, VC investors, and the broader climate community.
• Participate in industry events to network with the broader ecosystem and identify emerging trends.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in investment banking, markets, PE/VC, startups, management consulting, or strategy in the public sector.
• Strong interest in climate and climate innovation.
• Proficiency in quantitative storytelling, financial modeling, and data analysis.
• Ability to develop and convey compelling value propositions.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness and ability to learn quickly.
• Collaborative, creative, and execution-oriented personal operating style.
• Strong time management and prioritization skills.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Experience in ClimateTech investing and/or product development.
• Deep knowledge of climate innovation.
