Responsibilities:

• Architect and design Kubernetes solutions.

• Optimize Kubernetes Clusters

• Enhance security and compliance.

• Effective analytic/diagnostic skills

• Ability to lead cross functional teams.

• Researching and implementing ways to automate the management of our infrastructure

• A strong desire to understand complex systems and how to troubleshoot and make them highly available

• Ability to work with virtual / in-person teams, and work under pressure / to a deadline

• Experience in a Financial Services or large complex and/or global environment preferred

• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience

• Driving discussions with IA and other risk and compliance organizations.

Qualifications:

• 10+ Years of Cloud Architecture/Engineering experience in banking industry.

• 5+ years of experience with public cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure)

• 7+ years of experience with various Kubernetes platforms (OpenShift, EKS, AKS, GKE)

• 5+ years of experience with scripting and orchestration including Terraform and/or CloudFormation

• 5+ years of experience with Go, C, or C++; proficiency in multiple languages like Python, Java, or Ruby; ability to read the code

• 5+ years of experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog, AppDynamics, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, or equivalent

• 8+ years of experience working with Jira, Jenkins, and Artifactory.

• Experience working in Financial Services or a large complex and/or global environment Project Management experience

• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

• Comprehensive knowledge of design metrics, analytics tools, benchmarking activities and related reporting to identify best practices

• Demonstrated analytic/diagnostic skills

• Ability to work in a matrix environment and partner with virtual teams

• Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative

• Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements

• Proven track record of operational process change and improvement

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
