Support in coordinating and executing treasury-related functions including cash management and bank reconciliations.
Participate in Journal Entry posting activities and ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
Conduct detailed reconciliation reviews to identify discrepancies and ensure dataset accuracy for financial reporting.
Contribute to financial planning and analysis tasks including reviewing monthly profit and loss variances and participating in cash forecast preparation.
Aid in preparing statistical reports for senior management and external stakeholders.
Act as a key point of contact for handling and addressing ad-hoc queries related to tax and statutory requests internally as well as externally.
Participate in the review of Direct Tax and Indirect Tax returns and Transfer Pricing Compliance.
Assist in Tax audit coordination and support ad hoc statutory requests.
Undertake various other accounting and administrative duties as required, demonstrating a flexible and adaptable approach to support the needs of the business.
Actively participate in continuous finance process improvement initiatives.
Attributes to thrive in the role
Degree in finance or accounting, or equivalent sphere.
Over 3+ years of work experience in audit/end-to-end accounting and finance.
Excellent understanding of financial and accounting principles, practical knowledge of direct and indirect tax and tax accounting and reporting processes.
Familiarity with accounting software such as SAP and/or Oracle and strong MS Excel skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver vital and informative reporting.
Demonstrates good judgment and professional advice to clients.
