Job responsibilities
- Annotate banking domain text data for machine learning models using various data labeling tools and guidelines
- Analyze different types of structured and unstructured text data, identify the labels through context and disambiguation and annotate with the correct label
- Understand the nuances of language used in the financial industry and be updated with the business aspect of products
- Validate business results from model perspective and proactively provide feedback for model improvement
- Conduct retrospective data analyses and contribute to bringing clarity to business definitions and concepts
- Work closely with stakeholders including machine learning engineers, data scientists, data engineers and product managers across Chase's lines of businesses
- Communicate data annotation concepts, processes and model results to both technical and business audiences
- Adapt to changes in guidelines, priorities and environments
- Responsible for high quality and timely completion of deliverables
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelors or Masters in Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Computational Linguistics or related fields
- 3+ years hands-on experience working with data, as an data analyst, data annotator or data architect
- Must exhibit a basic understanding of AI/ML with expertise in text data labelling processes and quality control
- Analytical and problem solving skills as well as good project management skills (self-driven, well-organized, ability for tight deadline deliverables)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly present analytical findings and business recommendations to global stakeholders
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Understanding of LLM and Gen AI concepts
- Familiarity or experience with Data Analytics and Visualization
