As anAnalyst in the Asset Management Analyst Program - Risk, you willcollaborate with our industry experts to identify, assess and manage risk. You'll make meaningful professional contributions while developing your expertise in a dynamic team environment.First-year Analysts in the Asset Management Analyst Programme participate in J.P. Morgan’s world-class training programme for four weeks in New York with colleagues from around the world. In addition to learning the basics of our business strategy and structure, you will hear from senior management, review finance and accounting principles, improve your technical skills, develop proficiency with our proprietary tools and participate in networking events.


Job responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice to clients who typically include financial advisors, institutions, retirement plans and individual investors
  • Manage a variety of investment strategies from fixed income and equity to real assets, helping build a leading global client franchise that delivers superior strategies and strong financial performance.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong quantitative skills and a passion for investing
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Strong initiative, energy and confidence
  • Genuine interest in financial markets, investing and macro-level economics
  • Good judgment and discretion working with highly confidential information

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Background in financial accounting, financial analysis or mathematics a plus
