As a member of the team you will bring and learn new domains and use that insight to lead design, development and operationalize our architectures. At times, you will also propose and drive simplifications to our customer experience and improve our operational footprint. In this role, you will be challenged with scale and reliability problems. You’ll work directly with Product Managers, other senior SDEs and SDMs through the full development lifecycle from definition to operation. You will have opportunity to work along many other senior leaders and partake in shaping a growing org. You will mentor and develop other SDEs and get opportunities to collaborate along with Solution Architects and Customers directly to realize new ideas.

- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience leading the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
- Experience working with Python and Java
- Experience with multi-threaded programming
- Experience building complex distributed systems that are scalable and highly available using AWS services (S3, Amazon ECS, DynamoDB, AWS Fargate, etc.)
- Domain knowledge in the fields of healthcare and genomics workflows
- Experience with Native AWS development and operations (CDK, CloudWatch)
