DESCRIPTION

In this role, you’ll be supporting the development, integration, and deployment of the world’s most advanced Phased Arrays and Modems. On this team you'll be integrating the unique algorithms that make an phased array antenna function and work in coordination with our advanced modem architecture.Export Control RequirementKey job responsibilities
You’ll support the embedded phased array development and MAC functionality required to test a phased array and deploy advanced algorithms for tracking, control, steering, and testing.- Own unique embedded software functions through design, implementation (in C, C++, Python or other), test, and integration in an embedded Linux or real-time operating system (RTOS) environment.
- Write software to interact with devices/electronics using I2C, I3C, SPI, SERDES, Ethernet, etc. communications.- Interface with System Development engineers to automate data acquisition, transport and processing
- Interface with Antenna Engineers to automate post-processing using third-party software suites and generation of test reports.
- Follow best practices in high reliability embedded software development to ensure high levels of reliability and availability.A day in the lifeRedmond, WA, USA

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
