This position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at manager’s discretion.The Performance Measurement Team looks at rates of return on trade accounts and verifies that they are correct. Through audits, they verify that the investment performance is accurate. Additionally, the Investment Performance Analyst III will assist the field (Investment Advisors) via tickets when questions arise with an account and come up with a resolution. Responsibilities include:• Review query tickets from the field, review the items and work within the team to solve the issues. Ticket requests involves research and analytical work to determine and solve the issue.
• Audit accounts, via tickets from the field, looking into an account to figure out the issue causing the discrepancy.
• Work on different group related projects including onboarding and decommissioning of software related to the Performance Team.
• Work on creating and assigning benchmarks to accounts.
• Train the field on how to create, use and understand performance reports via the performance applications.
• Work with other applications and departments to solve issues.Preferred skills & experience• First Rate Performance reporting systems experience is a plus
• Understanding of performance reporting standards & data reconciliation
• Knowledge & experience with investments and securities
• Ability to work with large data sets
• General knowledge/experience with trust performance
• Working knowledge of portfolio accounting and daily upkeep of accounts
• Knowledge of performance measurement concepts
Job Description- Oversees the delivery and analysis of complex investment performance results to AMG clients. Assists with managing and monitoring workflows, working with team members to understand the needs of PNC AMG business lines in support of investment performance calculations. Assigned to our largest and most complex clients and responsible for delivering high quality investment reporting and issue resolution for our most complex clients.
- Coaches team members and leads applicable training. Leads team huddles/meetings and/or continuous improvement sessions. Provides input on team member performance and development. Leads system training sessions with investment team colleagues.
- Oversees the coordination of the most complex resolutions of issues or questions with internal operational support teams, performance vendors, advisors, performance analysts and senior analysts, and management.
- Provides interpretation and explanation of organization's investment performance portfolio analyses, actively leading performance reporting initiatives, operational improvements, system releases and enhancements. Supports analysts and senior analysts in identifying procedural or operational inefficiencies, overseeing recommendations for process improvement strategies for leadership. Actively leads special or strategic projects.
