Owns development and communicates the long-term vision and goals that drive the working backwards strategies for a portfolio of platform products
Understands domain and competitive landscape; may lead company-wide decision making for the platform product domain.
Inspires a culture of “test and learn” experimentation and innovation to solve core business and end customer needs in the platform product domain.
Leverages customer research, feedback, competitive analysis and industry trends to drive investment choices that will cultivate long-term innovation for the business and customer.
Owns “test and learn” roadmap to inform the platform product portfolio.
Owns the organizational planning and serves as the representative to Executives.
Compiles content for periodic Exec level communications, reviews and updates.
Continuously monitors the KPIs of portfolio and reviews regularly with technology peers and business partners.
Primary interface with the Business and stakeholders.
Makes trade off decisions for category / division platform product portfolio.
Owns business and platform requirements for a large enterprise or portfolio of platform products.
Sets the direction for the platform design for a large enterprise or portfolio of platform products.
Determines release goals for a large enterprise portfolio of platform products.
Creates a comprehensive user experience for an entire customer domain using various design thinking techniques.
Develops method for prioritization and triage of new changes and defects for team to apply, makes key decisions on showstoppers and end product quality.
For any issues, communicates to Sr. Management; assess the alternatives to resolve (“path to green”) and builds a plan for resolution; makes recommendations that will meet the goals and may directly implement resolution plans.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications:
10+ years of relevant experience in a product line management, e-commerce, and/or strategic planning role.
Significant experience building complex business and/or transactional models.
Has thrived and succeeded in delivering high quality technology products / services in a high growth environment where priorities shift rapidly.
Ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases.
First-class leadership and influencing skills, including experience managing a Tech Team.
Demonstrated interpersonal and talent management skills, including the ability to identify and develop product management talent.
Education:
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.
MBA Preferred.
