As a Vice President within Expense Management, you will be responsible for our key financial measures – headcount and expenses, where you will be expected to deliver value-added financial reporting and analysis, and assist with strategic direction and decision making. You will be expected to provide leadership across the FP&A teams, and interact regularly with the FP&A Managers, the line of business leaders and peers across Finance & Business Management and the business.

Job responsibilities

  • Develop and track performance metrics, creating presentations, and generally provide financial analysis on a variety of topics to senior management
  • Oversee the process to deliver month-end results, the forecast for the remainder of the year, and the budget for future years.
  • Perform variance analysis to understand the key drivers of the results and presenting commentary to FP&A managers and line of business leaders explaining changes from prior forecasts/budgets.
  • Help design new reports and dashboards to efficiently deliver the financial results to senior management
  • Enhance controls and streamlining processes, introducing automation where possible
  • Lead process improvement / transformation / dashboarding initiatives for the team
  • Drive the analysis, design and development of the Expense and Headcount Platform
  • Complete efficiency reporting, analytics and strategy

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities

  • 7+ years of work experience in Financial Services, and/or accounting/controller background
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Advanced knowledge and experience working on Essbase
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with ability to analyze large data sets and present conclusions concisely
  • Integrity in handling highly sensitive and confidential information

Preferred qualifications, skills and capabilities

  • Banking industry experience preferred
