Minimum required qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 4+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Cross solution skills across mature security technologies and a broad range of Infra technologies
  • Specifically for Security - experience of AD / ADFS / certificate services / PKI / windows server and client security.
  • Specifically, for Infra - experience cross Clustering / Hyper - V / Networking performance and troubleshooting / VM manager / virtualization / Windows server / WSUS / Azure files / Azure Stack / Well architected framework and Azure network security

The purpose of this role

The Cloud Solution Architect role involves gathering customer insights, mapping architecture, and proposing digital transformation solutions based on Microsoft technologies. The role requires coaching team members to focus on customer experience through efficient delivery, driving adherence to Microsoft standards and recommended practices, and providing a holistic perspective of customer challenges and competitor architectures. The Cloud Solution Architect role is focused on long-term client relationships and requires technical knowledge of architecture solutions to meet clients'' business and technical requirements and to resolve technical constraints and blockers. Skill sets required for this role include client delivery, partnership, and technical thought leadership.

Responsibilities:

Customer Centricity

  • Collects customer/partner feedback on technical preferences and business needs to align digital transformation solutions with their outcomes.
  • Serves as a customer/partner advocate, driving new insights and prioritizing resources within internal teams.
  • Liaises with internal teams, like Engineering, to tailor products and services based on customer/partner insights.
  • Champions customer/partner interests, sharing success stories to inspire and inform the wider team.
  • Builds and strengthens relationships with key customer and partner technical contacts and decision-makers.
  • Analyzes customer/partner requirements, crafting and validating technical architectures through collaborative design sessions.
  • Ensures alignment with customer success plans, collaborating with internal teams to fulfill customer/partner needs.
  • Facilitates customer readiness, acting as a trusted advisor to enhance skills and ensure operational and cloud readiness.
  • Leads by example, focusing team efforts on delivering a seamless and positive customer/partner experience.
  • Proactively addresses potential issues, improving customer/partner satisfaction and accelerating their transformation journey.
  • Engages in active listening, challenging customers/partners constructively and offering insightful alternatives for better outcomes.
