As a Lead Software Engineer within Aumni’s Data Platform team, you will be integral in implementing the data infrastructure and delivering the data backing key to stakeholders across the organization in a secure, stable and scalable way.

Job Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Support design and governance of structure, storage, and flow of data across distributed systems in various cloud environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data engineering efforts with business goals and objectives.
Evaluate current and new products and services across big data technology paradigm.
Actively contribute to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide data frameworks, tools, and practices in the Software Development Life Cycle.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Practical experience leading data engineering teams.
Practical experience developing data infrastructure of distributed systems using publisher-subscriber technologies.
Practical experience building, monitoring and improving ETL/ELT Pipelines and data warehousing solutions.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to senior audience.
Demonstrated ability to manage delivery timelines, and ensure our product and organization is on track to meet our goals.
