The IOW will oversee day-to-day Construction Operation at site.

  • To check, monitor, inspect, perform quality control checks, and monitor work in progress and final inspection on completed works.
  • The person requires performing site supervision and coordination to ensure that the works carried out by the Contractors are within quality standards and correcting specification.
  • To check, monitor, inspect, perform quality control checks, and monitor work in progress and final inspection on completed works.
  • Reporting on non-conforming matters found during inspection to Resident Engineer
  • Coordinate and supervise Defect Rectification Works during Defect Liability Period.
  • Engage in communication with clients, contractors, and approving agencies as needed for construction purposes.
  • Attend site progress meetings.
Here's what you'll need
  • A recognized Diploma or Certificate in Civil/Structural Engineering.Possess a registration with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) as “Inspector of Works”.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years site supervision experience in the construction of civil/infrastructure projects preferably in water treatment or landfill works
  • Having the ability of supervision and control/ good quality work done to specification and engineers/client requirement.
  • Experience as an Inspector of Works in consultancy engineering firms is an added advantage.
  • Profound technical expertise in Civil/Structural Engineering.
  • Able to coordinate site work independently with minimum supervision, good interpersonal skills, meticulous, confident, high analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A strong sense of responsibility, work ethic, and trustworthiness.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be a team player
