What you need to know about the role-
Responsible for providing comprehensive system administration support while contributing to the seamless operation and security of our internal security platforms.
Your day to day-
- Involved in the L1/L2 security administration & services and deployment support of cutting-edge security products (SaaS/CoTs or Inhouse) ensuring that they meet the needs of our internal customers.
- Stay abreast of emerging security technologies, platforms, and best practices, integrating them into the operational landscape to improve security posture and operational efficiency.
- Work in a collaborative, agile environment, liaising with colleagues and other teams globally to achieve common objectives and support the ongoing success of the organization.
- Serve as an advocate for customer engagement, ensuring that internal users’ needs are understood and met. Focus on enhancing the user experience and ensuring a seamless integration of security solutions.
- Act as a security advocate, promoting security best practices and ensuring that security is ingrained in all aspects of development and system operations.
- Engage in both project-based work, focusing on the implementation of new systems and technologies, and operational responsibilities, ensuring the continuous smooth running of business-critical systems
What do you need to bring-
- 5-7 years of experience in Information Security and Systems Administration
- Familiarity with tools like, HashiCorp Vault , KeyFactor , and Crypto is essential. Solid understanding of cryptographic keys used for encryption \ decryption, digital signatures, and secure communications. A deep understanding of how to generate, store, distribute, rotate, and revoke keys securely is critical to for this role.
- Knowledge on proxy management (Zscaler), Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions (such as SailPoint or MyAccess), Citrix environments, and Single Sign-On (SSO) integration beneficial, though training can be provided.
- Experience in Systems administration and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system functionality and reliability. This includes critical system security patching.
- Demonstrate understanding of information security concepts, standards, and practices. This includes firewalls, intrusion prevention, and detection, TCP/IP, and related protocols, device monitoring, and log management
- Basic coding experience in Python and Perl would be a plus
- Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow Incident Management, Change Management, and rational problem-solving skills
