Group Overview:

The Client Reporting Oversight (CRO) team within the Data & Regulatory Operations organization owns governance and oversight of client reporting functions including trade confirmations, product prospectuses, and client statements, ensuring they are generated and delivered in an accurate, timely and controlled manner while meeting regulatory and service requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute control testing as part of the Manager’s Control Assessment (MCA) program on behalf of CRO.
  • Records Management Officer (RMO) supports business and/or function adherence to the Citi Records Management Policy, Standard, and Procedure while assisting in the identification of records and coordinating the review of Records Inventories.
  • Monitor a range of regulatory reporting, identify and action exceptions, escalating where necessary.
  • Limited, proprietary application administration for CGMI Operations user group
  • Support new and ongoing CRO projects and initiatives.
  • Capture and distribute minutes from stakeholder and ad hoc meetings
  • Assist in performing Control reconciliations related to confirmations, prospectuses, and statements.
  • Support the group on a day-to-day basis to ensure all BAU activities are completed accurately and to the highest standard.
  • Identify areas for improvement within existing processes, propose enhancements.
  • Create presentations for Client Reporting Management
  • Must be comfortable facilitating conference calls and leading meetings. Must articulate written communications such as issue findings to groups outside of CRO.
  • Draft communications, including content for alerts, emails, collaboration, newsletters; ensuring communications are meaningful and easily consumed.
  • Prioritize and complete deliverables timely.
  • Support status assessment of all regulation related controls and recommend controls enhancements.
  • Assist management in achieving and maintaining strategic objectives, promote efficiency, reduce the risk of loss, and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support performance metrics monitoring for management reporting and escalation.
  • Assist in documentation gathering for audit purposes.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Knowledge/Experience/Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in financial services, internal audit, control testing, or similar related experience.
  • Possesses strong organizational skills, ability to muti-task, makes sound decisions, exhibiting initiative, intuitive thinking, and ability to work collaboratively and proactively without close supervision.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly grasp and master new concepts/requirements, related products, and functional knowledge.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to navigate a complex organization.
  • Willingness to question/challenge the status quo.
  • Self-motivated, effective under pressure and willing to take personal responsibility.
  • Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple activities and drive results with a high sense of urgency.

Skills:

  • Proficient in MS Office applications ( Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Manager Control Assessment (MCA) is an advantage.
  • Proficient in metrics and reporting.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
