As an EPS, you will work closely with multi-functional engineering teams and external vendors to facilitate silicon validation. We are looking for a material manager with excellent social skills, who is detail oriented and able to multi-task and prioritize time-sensitive work. The goal is to provide engineering support for the development and validation of innovative silicon material, spanning engineering design phases through production release and ramp for our innovative products.
- Drive vendors to deliver to material plan; holding vendor accountable for QTY and schedule- Identify and drive mitigation for issues that stem from material shortage, schedule delay, or engineering changes- Communicate delivery schedules and be familiar with associated details such as test program, special fusing requirements, associated memory, corners, packaging, expedite status- Ensure the smooth flow of material vital to meet the validation requirements and schedules- Report on material progress and investigate material blocker issues- Establish and maintain silicon health dashboards
- BA/BS degree or 3+ years of industry experience
- Familiarity with semiconductor supply chain – wafer, test, package, OSAT, or Foundry flows
- Silicon material management experience
- Experience in data visualization and dashboard creation
- Highly detail oriented, ensuring accuracy of all data, status and reports
- Excellent communication; both written and verbal
- Top-notch critical thinking, with ability to weigh both macro & micro level detail
- Ability to stay calm and respond in time sensitive environments
- Experience partnering with overseas vendors
- A self-starter who is comfortable operating with ambiguity
- A very high degree of familiarity with Excel for day-to-day use
