Responsibilities include the following:
Develop, align and execute an overall marketing strategy for the key retail channel partnerships in the North America region.
Responsibilities include development of the strategy, budgeting, campaign planning and alignment with retail marketing counterparts also with OEM and OS partner leads to align, plan and execute the strategy.
Drives channel marketing strategy in service of broader sales initiatives supporting sell-in and sell-through motions in channel.
Directs the brand story and message to the customer by delivering strong call-to-action storylines and drives overall awareness via campaigns and brand and product touchpoints.
Execution of marketing plans and deliverables in partnership with the channel and retail partners.
Owns all campaign optimization and reporting maximizing results for the business and sharing key learnings. Tracks key marketing metrics across the mix of marketing mediums in the strategy both online and in physical presence.
Plays a dynamic role leveraging messaging, brand assets, video-based content and aligning to promo calendars across retailers and OEMs.
Creative approach to marketing opportunities and unlocking new methods to reach audiences.
Strong collaborative partnership builder across partners as well as within local team. Ability to align team to a strategy and create a solid execution plan.
Trusted leader and resource to drive the business forward. Ability to make decisions and lead team without much oversight and direction.
Self-starter with a problem-solving approach and can-do attitude.
This is an office-based position located in San Diego, CA.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
Associate's degree or equivalent degree and 10+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
High school Diploma or equivalent and 12+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Consumer PC marketing industry experience specifically working in cross functional disciplines in the North America marketplace.
Digital eCommerce Channel program experience
Proven track record transcribing global marketing strategies into the local retail and consumer channel experiences.
Demonstrated ability to execute in the retail environment and build cross functional support of campaigns across the PC ecosystem players and partners.
Innovative approach to new breakthrough opportunities in the retail environment.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Leverages expert knowledge of Marketing principles, best practices, and applicable market research to set the strategic direction for multiple projects and programs across the organization that deliver on marketing goals and objectives.
• Resolves complex administrative or operational matters and ensures effective achievement of marketing organization objectives.
• Manages and oversees cross-functional teams and managers by meeting regularly with each team member to discuss business dynamic, develops plans to accelerate performance, and predicts future outlooks.
• Influences and directs cross-functional teams and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders on all matters concerned with designated projects.
• Acquires expert and adaptable knowledge on marketing strategy, marketing program guidance, and sales by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and expanding personal networks within and outside of the organization.
• Writes, rewrites and/or edits marketing/sales campaigns and programs, business results, and trends; reviews and provides guidance for documentation to team members.
Level of Responsibility:
• Working independently with no supervision.
• Providing supervision to other supervisors/managers who are direct reports.
• Making decisions that are critical in nature and highly impact program, product, or project success.
• Using verbal and written communication skills to convey highly complex and/or detailed information. May require strong negotiation and influence with large groups or high-level constituents.
• Overseeing budgets, schedules, and performance standards for multiple departments or functional areas.
• Exercising influence over the formulation and achievement of long-term business plans and objectives.
• Completing tasks that do not have defined steps; planning, problem-solving, and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively.

Pay range:
$175,000.00 - $262,000.00
