Job Description

As a member of the MER Vaccines CAC Team, you will operate in a high-visibility role reporting to the CAC Lead, enabling markets to shape the future of healthcare access in the region. The position is headquartered in Lucerne, Switzerland, however, we are offering flexibility to be based anywhere within the MER Region

Campaign Management

  • In partnership with the MER CAC Marketing Manager, drive the delivery and execution of high-quality creative strategies, concepts, and final creative material and campaigns for the consumer and healthcare practitioner activation plan

  • Ensure end-to-end content excellence across paid, owned, and earned channels

  • Collaborate with the regional team and local markets in preparing final recommendations for decision-making

  • Lead the localization and transcreation process in prioritized markets

  • Establish governance structures across markets, our Research & Development Division, agencies and other stakeholders for campaign planning, review and execution

  • Manage social media practices in a community approach across MER teams

  • Promote content re-use across markets for centralized campaigns and leverage the global content repository across MER

  • Adapt local transcreation to different existing and new platforms

  • Agree with our Research & Development Division on an approach to simplified medical and legal reviews of campaigns for all markets in partnership with agencies

  • Share best practices for messaging and content in consumer activation campaigns

  • Oversee the implementation of a Search Engine Optimization strategy for websites and other channels, in collaboration with paid and web agency teams

  • Explore and enable innovative content opportunities such as fragments and modular content

  • Coordinate and promote synergies for media buying, leveraging on a regional approach focused on prioritized markets

Project Management

  • Contribute to the design of short (6-9 months) and long-term (post 9 months) consumer activation roadmaps, establish clear goals and milestones in line with region and market launch waves

  • Cultivate strong collaborations with cross-functional/divisional teams (Legal/Policy/Research & Development Division), to accelerate and achieve key deliverables in consumer activation programs

  • Monitor project timelines, manage project budget, track spending trends with Finance teams, support project approval processes, and align decisions with International Vaccines team and appointed agencies

  • Document meeting discussions, prepare for meeting materials, flag key issues, track open actions, and develop mitigation plans

Transition Management

  • Liaise with the region and with market vaccines leads to transition local teams from the current mostly individual approaches, to consistent and centralized approach supporting Master Brand approach

  • Drive effective collaboration and deployment of the Global Regulatory Leader model for content and campaign creation and management, along with Human Health International (HHI), (International Vaccines and International Content Engine teams)

  • Establish baseline requirements and market readiness assessments in order to accelerate on the delivery of the CAC operating model, in collaboration with the CAC Marketing Manager

  • Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to diagnose key operational challenges, improve implementation efficiency, and develop playbooks to equip the region/markets

Internal Coordination

  • Identify areas for training and coaching to increase enterprise governance awareness and promote adoptions of new platforms, supporting the efforts of the CAC Team

  • Design effective communication channels to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and agency teams

& Knowledge Management

  • Simplify processes into action, identify and resolve team and project management issues, optimize workflows, and support the rollout of global processes for regional or local initiatives

  • Engage project and organizational stakeholders, provide timely updates, facilitate internal sharing, and support periodic business reporting efforts

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's Degree required in Marketing, Business, Communication, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience in these areas will also be considered

  • Relevant certifications in digital marketing, project management, or related areas are beneficial. These might include certifications from recognized bodies such as Google (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads), Project Management Institute, or Digital Marketing Institute

  • Substantial experience in a role within a marketing, digital marketing or consumer activation setting may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications. This should include evidence of successfully managing and executing large-scale projects or campaigns, leading and developing a team, and making significant contributions to business growth

  • Continuous professional development is valued. Evidence of ongoing learning, such as participation in industry events, completion of professional development courses, or contributions to industry publications or forums, can demonstrate your commitment to staying current in this rapidly evolving field

  • Demonstrated Leadership and track record of success: A minimum of 3 years of experience in project execution and/or leading digital/offline campaign management and execution teams. Proven record of successful team building, resource management, and project completion within timelines and budget

  • Organizational Growth: Hands-on experience in establishing, leading, and expanding centralized marketing organizations. Demonstrated ability to set up efficient structures and processes that promote productivity and growth

  • Diverse Market Experience: Solid background in working with a wide range of markets and regions, demonstrating the ability to understand and address diverse consumer needs and preferences

  • Enterprise Mindset: Proven ability to drive change with an enterprise mindset, balancing local requirements with overall organizational goals and strategies

  • Comprehensive Digital Campaign Management: End-to-end digital campaign management experience, including planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation

  • Data and Insights: Proficiency in harnessing data for decision-making, including using analytics tools, interpreting data, to generate insights. Ability to translate insights into actionable strategies

  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner

  • Collaboration: Proven ability to work cross-functionally with diverse teams to achieve shared goals

  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrated creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges and seizing opportunities

  • Agility: Experience with Agile methodologies and the ability to adapt swiftly to changing circumstances, demonstrating a bias towards speed and agility
