What you'll do...
What you'll do:
Design and develop scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to ingest, process, and store large volumes of data.
Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and other stakeholders to gather data requirements and design data models.
Implement and optimize data storage solutions, including databases, data warehouses, and data lakes.
Develop ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to cleanse, transform, and integrate data from various sources.
Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data validation and testing frameworks.
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and systems to identify and resolve performance issues or bottlenecks.
Implement data security measures and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends in data engineering.
What you'll bring:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, preferably in a fast-paced, data-intensive environment.
Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and data warehousing concepts.
Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and services (e.g., Airflow, Google Cloud, Iceberg, Hudi).
Knowledge of data modeling, data integration, and data governance principles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to optimize data processes and pipelines.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
