We're seeking a talented Clinical Data Steward to join out front end innovation team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing meaningful innovations for minimally invasive procedures. Working in small and skilled multidisciplinary teams of 5-10 colleagues, you will define new solutions for clinical challenges, and have the chance to shape the future of clinical interventions and improve patients’ lives. This role is a great steppingstone for a career in data-driven innovation in healthcare.

Your role:

• Working with product owners, data engineers, data/AI scientists, business/domain experts and strategy leaders to act on current data needs and build related curation & annotation protocols
• Hands-on data processing (curation, annotation, quality checks) is a substantial part of the job
• Guiding data acquisition and related curation & annotation activities, including training hospital staff and third-party annotation companies in annotation tool & protocol
• Defining quality control measures and review processes, to check if datasets & annotations meet quality requirements both from a clinical and technical perspective
• Acting as an internal consultant for the evaluation of external annotation providers
• Participating in the creation, development and maintenance of AI software tools to accelerate the curation and annotation process

You’re the right fit if:

• You have a Bachelor or Master in Biomedical engineering, data science, technical medicine or computer science
• Preferably 2+ years working experience in a healthcare context
• You have good communication skills, are comfortable with engaging with people with various professional backgrounds
• Ability to work accurately and thoroughly, always with a quality mindset
• Familiarity with data privacy laws and regulatory compliance measures is a plus
• Knowledge of radiology or medical imaging is a plus
• Data science / AI experience or interest to grow in these areas
• Comfortable with Python (intermediate+ level expected)
