We are supporting the management of a Rail Transit Tunnel project in Los Angeles, CA that is at the stage of track installation. We are looking for a Communications,Signal and Train Control MEP Manager with construction management experience for this Los Angeles, CA project. In this role, your duties working at the site include: understanding how to read, translate, and interpret construction plans, specifications, and codes of work being performed in the field; witnessing and understanding testing of train control, communications, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and fire alarm equipment in the field; monitoring construction site safety and violations, non-conformancework and writing reports; and understanding Federal laws, State regulations, and local Building codes. You will utilize your expertise to monitor contractors’ work for compliance to schedule, Budget, Technical Specifications, and Legal Requirements. You’ll bring your expertise to solve complex design and construction problems, ensuring the success of our projects for our clients. You will report to the Project Manager and work with the project team of inspectors, surveyors, office engineers etc.

Here's what you'll need
  • H.S. Diploma
  • 15+ years experience as Transit Rail Signal Inspector, five (5) communication, electrical, mechanical, plumbing and fire alarm
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Have technical training in Transit Rail Signal Communication Systems
  • ICC or ICB certification in Building and MEP
  • Valid California Class C driver’s license
  • Cal-OSHA/OSHA 30 training certification at start of work on project
  • Able to lift 25 pounds while on the project site
