As ayou will be responsible for leading complex, cross-functional programs that support transportation operations across FDOT districts or statewide initiatives. This includes construction coordination, traffic and ITS operations, maintenance programs, facilities oversight, materials compliance, and public information efforts. The Program Project Manager role will focus on integrating these functions at a program level to align with FDOT’s safety, mobility, and innovation goals.
Key Responsibilities of the Program Project Manager:
⦁ Manage multi-project operational programs spanning Traffic Ops, Maintenance, Construction, Facilities, Materials, and ITS/Technology.
⦁ Lead coordination across FDOT offices, local agencies, and vendors to ensure efficient delivery of program outcomes.
⦁ Oversee integration of new technologies (e.g., connected vehicle infrastructure, signal system upgrades, asset management tools).
⦁ Maintain compliance with FDOT policies, state and federal regulations, and agency standards.
⦁ Support performance reporting, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
