Position Title:OT Network Security Engineer (Hybrid)
As an OT Network Security Engineer, you will play a vital role in safeguarding industrial control systems and networks against cyber threats, ensuring the security and reliability of critical infrastructure within industrial settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and resolve network issues and vulnerabilities.
Develop and enforce security policies and procedures.
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments.
Implement robust security measures.
Respond swiftly to security incidents.
Ensure compliance with Siemens and industry standards.
Support the design, implementation, and deployment of secure technology solutions.
Assist in conducting detailed cybersecurity assessments.
Governance and Framework Alignment:
Define roles and responsibilities for managing OT systems to ensure accountability.
Align OT governance with overall business goals to support operational efficiency and strategic objectives.
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with OT systems, including cyber threats and operational disruptions.
Adhere to relevant regulations and standards to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
Foster collaboration between IT and OT teams to address challenges and leverage IT security practices where applicable.
Implement continuous monitoring and auditing of OT systems to detect and respond to anomalies and threats.
Tools Utilized:
Since NMS for network device monitoring.
Endpoint Central for OT network PCs monitoring and patching.
Claroty for packet traffic monitoring on the OT network.
Vark/Vurious for vulnerability ticket monitoring and resolution.
Standard Processes:
Maintain a comprehensive inventory of all OT assets, including hardware, software, and firmware.
Isolate critical OT systems from other network segments to reduce unauthorized access risks.
Regularly apply patches and updates to OT systems to address vulnerabilities.
Implement strict access control measures, including authentication and authorization.
Develop and maintain an incident response plan to quickly and effectively address incidents and disruptions
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or an equivalent year of experience in OT Cybersecurity Engineering.
3 plus years of experience in OT cyber/network security engineering.
Extensive understanding of industrial control systems (ICS) such as PLCs and SCADA.
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks like ISA-99/IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82, and CIS.
Proficient in industrial Ethernet communication protocols layer 2 and 3.
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CCNA, CSSA, or CPINS.
Demonstrated experience in securing OT environments.
Must be eligible to work in the US with no sponsorship now or in the future.
Ability to travel 10%.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to effectively communicate technical knowledge to management and other stakeholders.

Benefits and Perks:
The pay range for this position is $67,480 - $115,680 .The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
