Director, Software Engineering
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering (any), or related area and 6 years of experience in software engineering or related area; Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering (any), or related area and 4 years of experience in software engineering or related area.
Experience building scalable, fault-tolerant high-performance applications using REST, Microservices, Spring, Tomcat, and Containers. Experience driving architecture, engineering, and technology projects using design patterns and domain-driven design practices. Experience building web services using NoSQL database Cassandra and caching solution MemCached. Experience achieving engineering excellence and code quality using JUnit, Spock, Mockito, or Cucumber. Experience using one of the following continuous integration tools: Jenkins, Bit Bucket, GIT, or Sonar. Experience monitoring applications in production environments using Splunk and Grafana. Experience working with business teams, product management, software architects, and cross-functional teams to define the future roadmap of products. Experience defining engineering practices and measuring and improving team productivity using DORA metrics. Experience driving all phases of product development life cycle using Scrum and Kanban methodologies and productivity tool Confluence or JIRA.
